@drinkingpony it means the persona he’s cultivated of being the GOP’s “fixer” is a sham, he only campaigns on behalf of people who were already going to win anyway. Beyond that I think it’s really, really funny that his 2020 strategy involves flipping Virginia yet he can’t even set foot in the state without causing other Republicans to dip in polling.

@drinkingpony It's not the greatest animated show (Amazing World of Gumball is) but it contains some entertainment that is not downright horrible. She-Ra is alright. 6/10. 3 out of 5 stars. It has definitely improved since its start. The characters are complex enough to appreciate the writing.

@drinkingpony Mostly the fact that my ROB couldn't get my SMB2 online... :( haha
-
@drinkingpony Man, I still don't see much Undertale similarity. If anything, I bet it'll look more like a de-make of "Zombies Ate My Neighbors."
-
@drinkingpony Which is why I stopped playing games with anyone beyond arm's reach.
-
@drinkingpony The customs office will send it back. I'd like to know what this random person from Donguang China has sent me. Lying and commit a fraud is not worth my time and the risk.
-
@drinkingpony I'd like to but without knowing the *exact* contents and a PayPal or Bank receipt (or similar) the customs office employee refused to hand it over. I don't want to commit a crime for cheap electronics and faking a receipt. Also I have to give the exact content description prior to opening the package and I cannot do that.

@drinkingpony Oh, right, the punchline. At one point this guy ( the one who repeatedly went "DEBATE ME ! DEBATE ME !" ) had to admit that the movie just was not that defendable, or even good. But then he said "But you are still going to get the blueray/dvd right" and was promptly laughed at in a "Haha, but why tho ? We dislike/hate the movie"
-
@drinkingpony It needs a lot of self-hate to buy a sports game and doing it repeatedly.
-
@drinkingpony I have a soft spot for the film. I cannot help myself. Probably you have some films that are not very excelling but you like them nonetheless.
-
@drinkingpony Solo was good. It just had the misfortune to be released so close to The Last Jedi and had its reviews affect Solo. Solo had issues but it was fun and I enjoyed it.

@drinkingpony It was an Amazon Marketplace item and only shipped by Amazon. So I had to contact the seller first and the seller had two days to reply. I waited a few days longer and contacted Amazon and they solved it immediately.

@drinkingpony And Undertale looks like Earthbound, and critics' asses are boot-recepticles. Toby Fox did not invent grabbing the biggest knife. Hell, Jamie Lee Curtis didn't invent grabbing a big knife!
-
@drinkingpony Haha. No death ray. The most perplexing fact is that it was sent on October 30th. A few days ago, from China via express shipment. I looked at my bank account and nothing was out of the expected. The last thing I ordered from China were 3D printer board (that I've received) and a plushie for a relative's birthday (that I've also received). The customs office letter says that I have to bring a bill, purchase contract, or something that verifies its value and transaction. If I do nothing until the end of next week it'll be sent back. My curiosity is big enough to go to the customs office and see what it is.

@drinkingpony Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were literally running against each other you weak-chinned gimp, I don’t know why you think you, as a non-American, are the authority on American politics because you read a copy of the NY Post on reddit two years ago, especially when you keep spouting blatantly untrue bullgrape that plays straight into alt-right gaslighting strategies. Not only are Clinton and Gabbard not even in the same race, if they were Gabbard STILL would be polling below 5%, I hate Hillary Clinton but even I’m not blind and stupid enough to think that Clinton and Gabbard are ANYWHERE in the same league. At least Bernie Sanders was liked by more than two people, Gabbard is a god damn joke over here, she is not ahead or even competing in ANY state primary contest, she’s even losing in her own home state, she’s the kind of brain dead moron who’s asking wage slaves to talk to their managers because her turkey wasn’t cut exactly one eight of an inch at the deli.
-
@drinkingpony Describing Hillary Clinton and Tulsi Gabbard as political rivals is hilariously indicative of how much you truly don’t understand about American politics.

@drinkingpony I'm staying at home and play with my toys (CNC router, 3D printers, videogames) and do some recreational programming.
-
@drinkingpony I'm already extremely heated. Having a smacktalk might push me over the edge. Whatever. I have a month of vacation and don't want to think about work anymore.
-
@drinkingpony He was very smug like it was supposed to be that way.
-
@drinkingpony On that front, I might recommend a BlackBerry KeyONE... :p
-
@drinkingpony I don't own one, myself, and never really had any desire to get one. And if it really is about to become a Google-owned tracking device, I'm not certain I can recommend one.
-
@drinkingpony But it is funny both ways, heh
-
@drinkingpony It varies between states and even municipalities. Loads of the US of A is basically in private pockets. 98% or so of The Problem, by some estimates.
-
@drinkingpony It has 110% to do with crap-weasel CEOs and entitled loser "shareholders" taking billions of dollars from the customers and government, lining their own pockets, and not updating infrastructure since Will Smith was the Fresh Prince. But maybe if we had even fewer regulations, John Galt'll grow a conscience!!
-
@drinkingpony They’re intentional blackouts. Northern California is being hit with hurricane-force winds (something that is not supposed to happen, gee I sure wonder what that’s about) and the government is shutting down power in certain areas to prevent fallen power lines from catching trees on fire.
-
@drinkingpony It's a standard Nema 17 1.3 A, 12V stepper motor connected via a coupler to the Z axis lead screw. It's replaceable but still very annoying to the point of making me angry.
-
@drinkingpony Drat, I saw "2019 with 2GB" and thought you were talking about the new Raspberry Pi 4. I keep debating one, my RPi 3 barely works for TV surfing.
-
@drinkingpony Does it have training wheels? That seems like it would be a good place to start.

@drinkingpony The outrage is going to be a gold mine

@drinkingpony I ordered a Samsung Tab A T510N 10.1'' tablet. It has only 2GB RAM but looks decent enough. There are plenty cheaper tablets from manufacturers I don't know but I'm not willing to risk it. Because I'm using my tablet every day when I wake up and go to sleep I don't want to have something janky. So I also don't want to flash a custom ROM that has not all the functionality (i.e. flashing a cheaper Amazon tablet). I could get the cheapest Amazon tablet again but it was not ideal when it comes to sideloading. It worked but they crashed regularly. Also 7'' was too small for me. I could live with that as long as it did but using Youtube (90% what I've used) the buttons were too small. Usually I don't mind buying used electronics but in the case of a full-screen and glued-in battery device I'm super hesitant. I don't want to look at scratches.
