@northernnarwhal I don't expect to ever have the same connection to any album ever that I have with the Suburbs. It's the only album in my top favorites that tops all Modest Mouse albums.

@northernnarwhal I also enjoyed Spoon's They WAnt My Soul. Not even a candidate for best or even top 5, but still enjoyable.

@northernnarwhal It was definitely a great album. I don't know if I'd call it the best of 2014, or even the best folk album of the year, but it's an honorable mention at least.

@northernnarwhal Anyway, there are a few I'm between. The obvious one that I've mentioned many times is Benji. Run the Jewels 2 really grew on me, and I really love the new Aphex Twin album. The unexpected one is My Favorite Faded Fantasy, because I'm a pleb who actually likes Damien Rice, and I felt like it could have been his best album yet.

@derpy128 I've done all three plus the two Hobbits that are out. It was a bit rough but we survived. The third one will make it different, but we will endure.

@northernnarwhal When I call a band overrated, I don't always mean bad. For example, I call Queen overrated frequently, but I actually like Queen. I just don't think they're the best thing to ever happen to anything.
This also applies to the Beatles, Nirvana, and Dark Side of the Moon, as we've discussed before. -
