Honestly I'm with Matt on this one. If a show takes 25 episodes to get good, and is hit and miss from their, I generally won't enjoy it.
I know people make that argument about Breaking Bad, that it takes a full season to go from mediocre to good, but I disagree there. I never really loved Steven Universe, and Gumball and Star are definitely quality cartoons, but they're all equally inferior to the perfection that is Gravity Falls

@mrmattimation I remember reading a fairly short fan fiction back in like 2012 that did the same concept much better. I feel like that's kinda sad.

@awl my opinion of the movie was always that it was as good as it could have bee . In that sense, it's like a perfect adaptation of the book. The creative license honestly felt necessary at a lot of points. The Road is not the type of book that would seamlessly and perfectly translate into a movie, so they had to work with it a bit.

@oracle It's by no means unhealthy. They take such a small amount that it barely affects your body, aside from maybe a touch of light-headedness afterwards. Having a needle stuck into your arm is not bad for you, since the needles are fine and sterile, the wound heals almost instantly. Good idea? Well, aside from the moral implication of potentially saving lives, you're getting paid to sit in a chair and do nothing for a bit so yeah, I'd say it's a good idea.
