@nerthos I tend to wear jeans and a shirt I've popped the sleeves off. My shoulders and biceps are too large to fit in my size women's shirts. I also keep my hair very short.

@abigpony It happens out here. There's still some areas by me zoned for farm type animals and places that sell them. Personally, I can't see why anyone would want a chicken as a pet. I can understand if you're going to eat it or its eggs, but they don't seem like good pets (I've known people who raised chickens for their eggs).

@abigpony Very much so. I know it becomes a big problem around Easter. Parents buy their kids chicks thinking they'll make wonderful Easter gifts, and then the chicks turn into chickens and no one wants to take care of them anymore. I think the same happens with bunnies, but probably not as often. Rabbits stay cute, while chickens aren't so much.

@abigpony I know adult animals in shelters are way less likely to be adopted out, which makes me very sad. All the pets need a loving home. Everyone I know (well) with pets, though, takes good care of them for as long as they have them. I do see your point, though.

@abigpony She's crazier than our other cat was as a kitten. There's some things we're trying to train her our of, but I like the playful, cuddly kitties :3
