@madykatt subtle while driving. Something my 6 puck will never do. That's a bummer. Sti's got nice tranny's. 6 speeds with nice tight ratios. Great for a track or even a 1/4 mile.

@madykatt I thought getrag's were supposed to be good? (makers of the 6 speed in the mk4 supra) that sucks. Fastest I've gone was 160kmph, but I'm always a cautious driver. Don't like to speed. Yup. That's pretty bad. Explains your low redline, but also why you could have so much torque.

@madykatt ah! Gotcha! Ya. The 420a's really aren't anything special. And yup. I know neons aren't DSM's. I would be embarrassed if they were ^_^ (kidding to all the neon owners). There was a case where someone swapped the srt-4 engine into a 420a DSM. Didn't fit too well though. does your buddy have an account on tuners?

@madykatt wow. American body, japanese engine and German tranny? That's a pretty cool mix! Didn't know you knew so much about cars and DSM's! Personally I know my next car will 99% be another talon, but the 3000gt vr4's are mighty tempting! It's a bummer that the body's were made here. It's the only flimsy part of my car.

@madykatt the company Eagle (previously know as AMC [American Motors Corporation]) wanted an edge on the market. American engines were always heavy and all, so Eagle wanted to have something that would put up a fight against the Japanese imports.
