Reminds me of when I was young, and stayed up to watch one of the longest lunar eclipses ever, back in the early 80's.  (Yes, I realize that I'm dating myself a bit, there.)  Sitting out there on the lawn with my little cheap (but surprisingly great for moon and planetary observations) telescope, I zonked out against it shortly after the moon went completely dark.  Thankfully, woke back up again as it was starting to come back out."}
