TL2 is (from what I saw of the brief open beta) basically more of the same, except with balance\/difficulty tweaks and multiplayer, and a continuation of the story. So playing 1 will be a decent way to judge whether you'll like it. (I'd suspect you will. Plus I've heard rumblings that 2 will also come to Linux eventually, since 1 was certainly possible.)"}
