Especially with 8 other civ's on the map. Sure I am leading in tech right now, and am slowly but surely outmanufacturing them... I am going for the GDR approach... Oh that is a lovely city you have there, it would be a shame if... Oh wait neither of us have nukes yet... Just hold on for a bit Korea...
