I'd have thought that in schools they would attempt to teach more Florentine but I suppose it depends on if it's missionary school (presuming here, bad memory) and where they believe they'll be sending you.  I hadn't learned one bit of what differentiates Venetian cadences from Italian 'proper', but then again I learned mostly from Sardinians."}
