Because she wanted to. That's who she is underneath her kindness exterior: A judgmental pony. Knowing how to be kind doesn't exempt you from having ideas\/thoughts about other folks. You just bury them pretty deep and try never to express them. Those feelings were, from a psychological standpoint, how she really reacts to stimuli around her and has taught herself to avoid or bury without saying things.
