In the case that it doesn't help (even after I explain I don't mean it in the sense that everything is like an <i>organized religion<\/i>), at least I'll know who's open-minded enough to discuss things without getting too bogged down by their own definitions and beliefs, and I'll know to avoid talking to them about certain things or in a certain way. I'm not out to make people believe what I believe by my own merits. I care enough about people to hope they'll lend an ear sometimes, though, since I believe they can benefit from, if nothing else, a broadened understanding of someone else's beliefs. I'm a convert myself, so I greatly value the spreading of knowledge, whether of my own beliefs or of others that I feel can uplift, edify, and inspire people."}
