It felt a lot more tranquil and introspective than An Awesome Wave, and compositionally it featured a lot more African rhythms and triad patterns. So I could safely say it's both eclectic and inspired. Now, that being said, there's really a lot to take in with this record, and I feel it was a bit long winded at times, though perhaps some of the material just needs to gestate with me more. Overall I'd say I liked it, but I'm going to give it a few more listens to see how it grows on me."}
