I never found the lyrics to be dull or uninspired. Then I realized that Some Nights, lyrically, was ripping of Aim and Ignite. Like, there are several lines in Some Nights that are like lines from Aim and Ignite but lamer. Example: All Alright, I've given everyone I know a good reason to go", vs. At Least I'm Not As Sad, "I don't keep friends, I keep acquainted, I'm not a prophet but I'm here to profit". They're both saying "I'm a cold and distant papayas" one just does it so much better."}
