Since I rent an apartment, I can't do anything to it.  It was interesting talking about it with the maintenance guy and coming to this conclusion, though.  I distinctly remember troubleshooting a &quot;bugged&quot; floral case back in college, and I identified the problem as a bad thermostat (stuck closed)."}
