That being said, in my experience I've more often seen the &quot;show your work&quot; model abused by teachers when marking to dock marks off of students who don't arrive at an answer utilizing that teacher's specific process (so it's basically &quot;my way or the highway&quot; for lots of them). It's a difficult line to walk!"}
