First off, even if I don't necessarily agree with any sort of Islamic registry or ban on Islamic immigration, I don't personally count those ideas as racist. They're more of an excessive reaction to an admittedly real threat. <br \/><br \/>There is no absolute, conclusive evidence of Trump being a racist, I can admit that. A lot of it is quotes like this one from his announcement speech:<br \/><br \/>\u201cWhen Mexico sends its people, they\u2019re not sending their best. They\u2019re not sending you. They\u2019re not sending you. They\u2019re sending people that have lots of problems, and they\u2019re bringing those problems with us. They\u2019re bringing drugs. They\u2019re bringing crime. They\u2019re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.\u201d Whether this one is racist or not is highly debatable, and again comes down to personal opinions and definition. Of course the headline that usually comes with this quote is &quot;Trump believes that Mexicans are rapist by default&quot; Which builds the &quot;Trump is racist&quot; mindset."}
