For tags, if you place a # before a word, it becomes a tag. If you put a ! before a word, it also shows up in a group you joined. For example, I'm in a group called &quot;Everypony loves hugs.&quot; If I wanted a post to show up there, I type !<span class=\"vcard\"><a href=\"http:\/\/rainbowdash.net\/group\/145\/id\" class=\"url\" title=\"Everypony loves hugs (espeacially from Sweetie Belle 99) (hugs)\"><span class=\"fn nickname\">hugs<\/span><\/a><\/span>, and it shows up."}
