Obama was elected on a very similar note to Trump, and Trump was elected on a very similar platform to what a lot of these celebrities and other outsiders will try to run on in 2018 and 2020. We're very much in a &quot;that old thing sucks, let's replace everything&quot; state of mind right now, which I think was part of Hillary's problem. She ran her campaign in a way that made her seem like Obama II, so it was very easy for her opponents\u2014both Trump and Sander\u2014to say &quot;everything sucks and she won't do anything about it&quot;."}
