Aside from making you feel awful (I'm sure you've noticed) it's physically bad for your brain to go from 0-100% without the intermediary steps. If getting another prescription isn't viable for you, you could try scaling back the dosage. Take them less often, but still on a regular scale. My mother takes her citalopram at a rate of 1 every 2 days after she began to experience negative side effects from taking it daily.
