A great job with atmosphere and mood, and a number of creative scares (especially considering the fact that the entity in question can only do, like, three basic tricks). As for the scares, they're mostly of the AUGH!-YOU-JUMP-NOW variety, but they do make you jump - their timing is impeccable. As for the story, it made me kind of wish I'd watched the first two again so I'd be back up to speed; but, I saw it on a whim, so no chance there. I would say it integrated into the overall story of the franchise better than PA 2 did. I'd say they've got one more possible film in the franchise (which would take place after PA 1, since 2 & 3 were prequels) - but I can't for the life of me think of how they would continue the "characters filming themselves" theme. Overall, I'll call it a B-minus. !movies"}
