And, given their intention of keeping everything hush-hush, if all of this did go down, I wouldn't call it a lock that the problems with the guests are all fixed now. Time will tell, here. Either this is going to be denied as bogus, or a few people -- the current con chair, for starters -- will have some explaining and/or reassuring to do, and pronto. Either way, some serious damage control will be needed.
