For getting an overview of the conversation, StatusNet's reply threading is wonderful, but when you want to actually see what a specific post is responding to in a huge conversation with multiple parties Twitter's style works much better. Some of this is just caused by the colors being used though, which I could probably change if I felt like it.</html>
