I managed to get a job with a fairly nice company, who paid for me to take a HNC course in IT. Then my boss kind of flipped the hell out and took to workplace harrassment, so I applied for my current job on the strength of the experience I had and the qualification they paid for. I got it and now I'm here. From drop out to manager in two jobs.
