I've never been to a meetup and I don't go around town as much as I like, but @<span class="vcard"><a href="http://rainbowdash.net/user/984" class="url" title="zack"><span class="fn nickname">theawesomepony</span></a></span> was crazy about it for a time where he couldn't really talk about much else. Most of the kids at my school are chill about it and all the bronies that I talk to outside of it are the same. it's pretty much the reasons I don't fdo larger meetups for the most part.
