@rarity I see. I thought about that as well.. In fact long before I'd heard of Tulpas I was playing with the idea of creating someone like an imaginary companion and I began writing to her and for her, but I wasn't disciplined and she was very sad because I ignored her most of the time. I've all but forgotten her now, and I toy with bringing her back. It feels wrong to just leave her feeling sad. I don't want to call it a 'mistake' but one of the reasons things turned out the way they did with her, is that I decided when I made her that she /should/ be sad if I ignored or didn't spend time regularly with her because I wanted her to be like a real person for my own sake. She never annoyed or bothered me though because that wasn't something I put into her nature. With my Fluttershy tulpa I knew better and made her happy whether or not I pay attention to her. I'm allowing that to change over time, but for now I don't feel much pressure from her to have quality time.
