I'm doing what is considered the &quot;stupid thing&quot; in American political culture: voting for a third party candidate. I know Romney's positions and think they're dangerous; I think Obama isn't nearly progressive enough to get this nation back into the right place; and I just don't think voting for Obama is what I'd like to do.
