For some, that's a stepping stone to greater friendships; for others, that's all they really get to be, kept at a safe distance emotionally. As for us, that &quot;good acquaintance&quot; is probably where we're at, at this point. It takes a while before I consider a person to be a friend, and I've only known you here for a few days.
