You'll have to install a Java environment though and, unlike on Windows, we have multiple of those on Linux so that's confusing as hell. I would go to the software repositories and install anything Java which looks good, as I unfortunately don't know which one you need to run it. One important thing is to right-click the minecraft.jar file and mark it as an executable :P</html>
