I consider myself somewhat creative. I suppose I <i>/could/</i> maybe fit into the hipster category, but I always genuinely liked the show, never &quot;ironically,&quot; though I do like to stand outside the social norm. It's also true though that I might have gotten into the show much later than I did if it weren't so popular. I was never repelled by it being a girls' show, but I thought maybe it would turn out like the new Care Bears or something with less-than-interesting stories and characters so I put off giving it a chance until one fateful day when I was bored and saw a link by chance (that wouldn't have been there except that it was being discussed by a fan).
