I understand that active homosexuals want civil (and in some cases religious) recognition that their lifestyle is acceptable. I just disagree. I sense that homosexuality brings unhappiness. It should go without saying that I don't expect everypony to agree with me, but I'll still remain active politically to try and be my brother's keeper if that makes sense.
