I really want to take the basic idea and build a non-broken version of it using what I've learned since, but the original app has enough bad decisions underlying it that it's become unpleasant to work on. (On the plus side, a rewrite would give the possibility of picking something more Windows-friendly than raw curses from the start. Thinking maybe urwid.)
