I still need to get a 1911 myself.  I have fired a couple of 1911's (Springfield Armory Loaded chambered in .45 ACP, Koonan 1911 chambered in .357 Magnum).  Needless to say, I was quite impressed with them.  I will probably start out with one chambered in .45 ACP, and given the expense of that cartridge, I will probably also get a shell holder and some reloading dies for that caliber as well.</html>
