Use the Greatsword sniping method (look up a vid on it, it's hard to get right without any Tigrex hunting experience though) or a nice safer way: Get an armour set with Guard +1 (Hermitaur works nice) and make a decent Gunlance then just tank/poke him to death! !<span class="vcard"><a href="http://rainbowdash.net/group/101/id" class="url" title="Monster Hunter (huntingponies)"><span class="fn nickname">huntingponies</span></a></span>
