General Motors is part of the visible infrastructure and without General Motors there is a BIG problem when it comes to future plans of multiple, perhaps even oil-based, long term govnerment plans. Meanwhile the gaming industry is bigger than the USA's total deficit and it's effects are lesser known and felt less should XboX and/or Sony fail. Even if the big and mighty USA wanted to do something about XboX going under, I doubt if even making 2 more Obama titanium coins and directly giving them to the video industry will make any diffrence. Go look at the moment in time where EA's stock went down 4/6th, and see what happned there.
