People rarely become atheist from being cornered by what they perceive to be a miliotant atheist. No one wants an idea forced on them either. And since most atheists had to come to terms with these ideas on their own,and almost every atheist's story is unique, I find it weird they try anyway. I think both sides miss a key point from time to time, that beliefs not only inform our actions but shape our identity. But unlike a hammer that is put away after being used, our beliefs stay with us and cause violent reactions to our psyche when suddenly removed. So why either side tries to argue in an attempt to convince is beyond me.</html>
