I'm pretty sure it's a PCI Express. My motherboard was a large 17 year old Asus, though which I've forgotten, not that that tells you much I guess. I built the system myself. I loved it, but since it died (I think it was the motherboard that finally gave out though I'm no good at diagnosing) I have a loud little pre-owned PC at home that covers the basics.
