What I can gather is the concept of objectivism follows the idea that people work best when they acknowledge the restrictions that reality binds them to and work for themselves, without being blinded by emotions and whatnot. In a purely functional setting, that would probably work pretty well but, as human beings, it's difficult to not use emotion as an extension of reason. If people could control that and simply use logic, I imagine it would be a good idea but it seems unrealistic. Although maybe I just read it wrong. I dunno, I've never done this before!</html>
