I have developed quite a network of friends over the internet whom I have known for the better part of the last 13 years. We talk often. However, it's just not the same as having in-person friends to hang around with. It's hard for me to really appeal to just &quot;anyone&quot; as I'm so very strange in the way that I live, so it's just not very easy - regardless if I &quot;go outside&quot; or not - to actually find somebody around here willing to be a friend.
