Also, a whole season missed localization because of gender issues: the state-side producers didn't want transgender/cross-dressing villains and were just planning to dub them as pretty boys, but these villains happened to be like the sailor scouts and the creator of the show/manga said something along the lines of &quot;all sailor senshi must be female&quot; or something, plus that season was overtly sexual anyway from what I heard
