She wasn't just there to swoon over the Doctor. She got stuff done and I think she was a great balance. But yeah, I feel like her ending was just them trying to wrap it up with no string attached (looking at you, Rose). Same with Amy and Rory. Though I thought the Angels Take Manhattan was (for the most part) an amazing episode. But I'm biased. I like Weeping Angels.
