The sooner you have a source of income, the sooner you can get out and keep yourself from getting any worse off, and things <i>/should/</i> be better for you since it'll be split cost (or I assume since you're going to be living with multiple people). Even if it's just something temporary while you save up more money for something different, just get out as soon as you can safely.
