The first week you'll rush completion and do a zone a day or so, and eventually you realize how big the map actually is and slow down. Now and then you feel like completing or exploring a different zone and go back to finishing stuff. Then you get in things like guild missions and explore a lot because of it. For example guild bounty missions usually mean you'll get assigned a target and follow him/her around a whole area so that your guild knows where that target is in case it gets chosen as the bounty the guild has to catch.
