Not that my friends really joke about it or anything (at most they might just ask me how to read or pronounce something), but I can definitely relate to hearing really bad accents. The way everything tied in together at the end of that was perfect though; I love greentexts where everything seems like a big chain of unrelated events until the last line totally pieces it all together.
