DC obviously has strong characters like Batman and the Joker, and tbh before the MCU I would say that people who like just Batman outnumbered Marvel fans of any type.  The problem is, DC has a couple strong leading men and absolutely no substance and background to the universe.  Like, outside of the Batman and Superman universes, who cares about other DC characters?  Like, &lt;i&gt;/maybe/&lt;/i&gt; Green Lantern?  mangoing Aquaman?</html>
