Which goes back to what I mentioned earlier about how ultimately the film's themes are on the messy side whereas its core narrative is pretty well focused. Also as I mentioned before, I don't think Serenity is a bad film. I can still enjoy it as a much needed proper conclusion to Firefly, and I thought it handled its characters quite well, at least in terms of their actions and motivations. I do have a lot of strong criticisms for the film, but not enough that I'd say I specifically disliked like it.&lt;/span&gt;</html>
