I believe the LGP's cheaper, too, so that's another plus for it. The only other ones I've used was a Hauppauge something-or-other (fried itself at random one way, and was the most expensive capture device I've bought) and a Dazzle (S-video at best, so not for modern consoles). These all work with USB too, so they're good for laptops.
