What's especially interesting to me is how history &lt;i&gt;/affects/&lt;/i&gt; politics, since the decisions our leaders make today are entirely based upon the choices made hundreds and hundreds of years ago.  All of human history has led up to the current political climate, I'd feel at fault if I wasn't as informed as I could be.</html>
