Like, the first game in the Black Ops story arch was Call of Duty: World at War, which took place during World War II and had nothing out of the ordinary. Then Black Ops comes out and they're like "WHOA MAN SLEEPER AGENTS" and then Black Ops II comes out and they're like "WHOA MAN IT'S THE FUTURE" and then Black Ops III came out and they're like "WHOA MAN YOU'RE JUST STRAIGHT-UP A ROBOT IN THIS ONE"
