He is more unpredictable and demagogic, but we are talking about someone with a history of opportunism (he claimed to be pro-life and in favor of universal healthcare in the past).  Trump is simply pandering to the most backward sections of the working class with his anti-immigrant rhetoric and such (he probably doesn't even believe a good deal of what he is saying, and even if he believed it, it wouldn't get congressional approval).  I am also convinced Trump's appeal would melt away when he ended up failing to improve living standards.</html>
