Also there were also dozen announcements for a sequel but none of them came into fruition. This time it's an official remake. If you find the original for a very cheap price I'd suggest to play it but it has some odd quirks from the past and the rendering engine doesn't support high resolutions. I guess 800x600 is the max. I don't know either if it works on a current OS on 64 bit.
